The Flexible Manufacturing Group are delighted to have signed an exclusive 5 year manufacturing agreement with Windsave LTD (www.windsave.com)
The agreement covers all of Windsave micro turbine manufacture and associated products.
There are four product divisions.

Information/Advertising Systems
FMG and Windsave have a long association and the two companies engineers work extremely closely in developing all new products. Windsave have their Senior Design Engineer based at Livingston Precision Engineering Ltd. Where he works, on a daily basis, with the FMG engineering team, developing and manufacturing all Windsave products.
All three companies within FMG contribute to the Windsave product. Deans Engineering produce the precision machined parts for the turbine, Flexible Surface Technology do all the finisihing of the products, while Livingston Precision Engineering fabricate, assemble and deliver all the finished products directly to Windsave customers or distributors.
The latest developement is the fitting of a wind turbine on a street lamppost. This development will reduce local authories massive elecricity bill for the cost of street lighting.
The system can be fitted very simply on to a standard lamppost, installation can be done at the same time as the lamppost almost removing the costs of installing the turbine. With the height of the standard lamppost and the fact the large majority of them are in the open means that the Windsave 1200 system will work extremely efficiently in these conditions.
The product, developed at LPE, is now working extremely successfully and is creating massive interest from local authorities, lamppost manufacturers and installers. The lamppost system was described by one installer "anyone who installs a new lamppost without considering this product has more money than sense".
